Matt Rafalow is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at University of California-Irvine with research interests in education and technology. His earlier work on technology use in elementary schools was published in the International Journal of Sociology of Education, and he has a forthcoming chapter in a book with Routledge Press on learning online. Co-authoring a book to be published with NY University Press from work with the Connected Learning Research Network, a MacArthur Foundation-funded research initiative. He received his Master’s in Education from Columbia University Teachers College.
