Matt Rafalow is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at University of California-Irvine with research interests in education and technology. His earlier work on technology use in elementary schools was published in the International Journal of Sociology of Education, and he has a forthcoming chapter in a book with Routledge Press on learning online.
